Laia and Edgar, a private island, dinner under the stars and four magic words: Will you marry me? This is how we begin today’s post, with a love story who’s main character is a bride from a fairy tale, a true Tot-Hom bride.
When we met Laia we saw something special in her, a person who lives with passion everything she does, with incredible energy and always with a smile. She knew exactly what kind of dress she wanted for her wedding day, a romantic dress.
Side by side we designed her desired dream dress. The end result was a design in wild silk, with hand-stitched embroidery on top and and impressive three meter tail.
The different parts of the dress were thought to enhance the beauty of the bride and to provide a role for certain times of the wedding. For the ceremony, Laia added a tail which she later removed for her comfort and she gave a casual touch with a wreath from Moncollierbcn.
A braid with a white and gold headdress from Rius de Forns, a white veil and sandals in pastel pink suede and alligator leather with customized initials by Serena Whitehaven completed the bridal look. Laia looked gorgeous.
Her wishes had come true and we knew that she would look radiant with her princess cut model.
The mother of the bride, very elegant, also relied on Tot-Hom for this important day and chose an haute couture dress for the occasion.
Laia, thanks for sharing these great pictures by Monica Carrera with us. We can only say that you were a real princess and we feel very fortunate to be part of your story and make your dream come true.
