When we received the photos from the bride today it filled us with sensations of love, optimism and satisfaction in equal parts. Today´s is a very special embroidered wedding dress. We´re talking about Gemma´s couture wedding dress, the Tot-Hom bride said her I do´s in the Basillica de La Concepcion in Barcelona and dazzled everyone with her impeccable style and innate elegance.
The haute couture wedding dress that Gemma chose for her big day was in perfect harmony with her essence and what she had always dreamed of. An embroidered wedding dress with an overlapped skirt that could be removed when it came time to dance. A crepe design that fit snuggly to her figure with a V-shaped back that complemented the voluminous skirt of wild silk and a spectacular tulle veil that covered her face. Pure delicacy, elegance and exquisiteness.
Thank you so much Gemma for trusting in Tot-Hom and letting us create the wedding dress of your dreams, and many thanks to the mother of the bride as well for choosing a precious design made by Tot-Hom. You were both radiant!
Next, we leave you with a short interview with the bride and with some photos of her big day so that you can soak in her beauty.
Confessions of a Tot-Hom bride: an embroidered wedding dress
Our Tot-Hom bride unveils her pre-wedding priorities, her first impressions and gives us some tips on finding the perfect bridal gown:
What did you like best about your wedding dress?
That it was original and different. The details of green leaves gave it a different touch without being excessive. I also loved being able to wear two dresses in one: the wild silk skirt with the central opening was so elegant and classic, ideal for wearing in Church and the daring crepe dress was a treat for the party. The guests were very surprised because they had no idea that I was wearing a dress under the skirt.
Any special memories during the pre-ceremony moments?
I remember the nerves and emotions that were reverberating in my house. The photos I took with my parents and my 5 siblings and when Nacho, my husband’s brother, came to give me the bouquet. It was so exciting!
What was the best advice you received about choosing the dress?
That the dress should reflect my personality and style.
What advice would you give to future brides when choosing their dress?
They should have very clear what they want, to be determined and dare to take a few risks within the limits of what a wedding dress should always be, elegant and delicate.
Did your husband make any comments about the dress?
He was very excited when he saw me enter. When I approached him, he could hardly speak but he told me that I was precious and beautiful.
In three words, how did you feel in your wedding dress that day?
Delicate, elegant and stylish 🙂
