It’s the end of the month. We leave aside the thread and needle to take a break and enjoy a chat with influential people and fashion lovers who tell us interesting things. The same seven questions but never the same answers. Today we talk to Patricia Sañes…

Patricia Sañes is a professional journalist and a vocational coolhunter. In 2010 she founded her fashion and life style blog, Coolhunter Diary, in order to inform and entertain. She has collaborated with Massimo Dutti, TCN, Natura Bissé, &Other Stories, Guess, Redken, Kérastase, L´Oréal Professionnel, La Roca Village, Liu Jo, Chie Mihara, JS Heritage, Mint&Rose, Women’Secret and Aristocrazy.

Patricia Sañes Tot-HomWhat can we find in your closet? Basics or trendy garments? A little bit of everything. I love combining a basic denim with an extravagant jacket or exaggerated sunglasses. I like having high quality garments in my wardrobe which I combine with extreme accessories, although sometimes I go for a very strong look following the “more is more” principal. I don’t like being minimal because that is not who I am. I truly believe the way you dress has to reflect the way you are.

What color do you wear when you want to be sure you will cause a good impression? Black… I know it’s a boring answer but if I can only choose one color that would be it. Nonetheless, I don’t tend to wear black from head to bottom.

What can we find inside your purse? My iPhone, my makeup (Guerlain powder and a colorful Nars lipstick), an XS comb (I comb my hair 24/7), a small fuchsia wallet (my fetish color), my house keys and professional cards.

What is your beauty routine? Every night I wash my face with a pharmacy soap, then I put on a tonic from Sepai for JC Apotecari, The Cure de Natura Bissé lotion and Tata Harper for JC Apotecari contour cream. Also, twice a week I apply palm oil by Leonor Greyl for Le Salon on my hair and I leave it all night. Also, I exfoliate my face twice a week with Glyco Peeling from Natura Bissé.

Who is your fashion icon? I would say Jane Birkin and Anna Dello Russo. Two characters who are almost opposite but fascinate me with their personalities. I love Jane for her natual beauty and her simple hippie style; and I adore Anna because she is excessive. Both are naturally provocative, they break schemes and they never adapt to society, something that has always impressed me.

With what Tot-Hom line do you feel most identified with? With the Line A Prêt-à-Porter. I love the easy-chic syle of their designs.

If you had to define Tot-Hom with one word, which would you choose? Elegance.
